Behind the Scenes: Color Experiments in Progress!

One thing we’ve learned running the Soft Play Store: not everything fun starts on the shelf. Sometimes, the best things start on a white table under a bright light, with a few plastic fence panels and a wild idea.

Over the past few months, we’ve been quietly working on something playful — a line of our signature fence panels in vibrant new colors. Orange. Pink. Purple. Red. and... this light blue. We're talking full pastel dream mode. And we’re not just guessing what looks good — we’re actually making physical samples, photographing them, and asking ourselves the real questions: “Does this color spark joy in a playroom? Will it make the photos pop for an Etsy store? Can we picture this in a daycare or a birthday party photo backdrop?”

This is all part of our Soft Play R&D — no lab coats, just creativity, customer feedback, and the same obsession with quality that built our brand. The goal? To find out what YOU actually want to see in your spaces.
